What to Post
Posts are to be women’s self defense related. They can be educational information, announcements or a mix as long as it is related to women’s self defense.

Ideas to Blog

  • News Items - please list the source of your news items.
  • Tell a story - everyone loves to hear a true account of an event or personal journey!
  • Announcements - tell us what you or your school is doing, share events anywhere in the world of interest to women’s self-protection and cultural advancement. (AWSDA members only)
  • Articles: if you write the article yourself you have three options:
    1. Publish the entire article on the blog.
    2. Publish it on your own website, then post a paragraph or summary on the blog with a link back to your site.
    3. Publish it on AWSDA’s website with your resource box at the end of the article linking back to your website. All new content on the AWSDA website is mentioned on the blogsite.

Articles you publish from someone else or another directory must be posted in their entirety without edits, including their resource box.
